Update: Audo for Clark’s story on the Yahoo case is available. Jocelyn Ford’s story on Isaac Mao is also available.
Clark Boyd, technology know-it-all from Public Radio International’s show The World, wrote to tell us that today’s show is right up our sad little alley.
We’re running a double hit today on Chinese bloggers. First, yours truly with a piece on the court case being brought against Yahoo in US federal court on behalf of Wang Xiaoning and Shi Tao in China. And then, a follow-up out of Beijing looking at the blogging scene there, which features Isaac Mao. Audio available online (WMA) after 5:00PM EDT at www.theworld.org.
Clark’s one of the earliest journalists to follow the threats to bloggers around the world and it’s likely anything he does will at least be worth listening to. (Or so he keeps telling us.)
