What are the Top Ten “crimes” that repressive regimes find bloggers “committing”? Here’s our list in order of frequency. Keep in mind these are the supposed charges once charges are agreed upon. Often, bloggers are arrested (if a legal term like that can legitimately be used in this context) for no particular charge.
1. Distributing state secrets (including passing information to journalists and human rights groups)
2. Insulting the leadership
3. Insulting religion (includes founders and leaders of a religion)
4. Insulting the dignity of the country (includes the “people,” that is, the dominant ethnic majority)
5. Inciting racial hatred
6. Endangering national security (usually by doing one of the first five)
OK. I can only find six so far. The rest seem to dove-tail into those six. Have a missed a charge?
Evidently, the state and its leaders rank above God.

not all are involved in these crimes, so better don’t spread this, many are blogging for good reasons. Not all five fingers are same.
Ruhab:
Not sure I understand you. I’m saying that when bloggers are arrested by repressive regime, these are the “crimes” they are often charged with, not necessarily guilty of.
