CPB has no Wikipedia entry. The organization’s only presence in this popular, collaboratively-authored encyclopedia are in three other articles. (According to the first, we’re “short-lived.” In the second and third, we are linked to outdated URLs.)
Personally, I have a thing against being involved in the creation, or substantial revision or addition, of a Wikipedia entry involving myself or an organization I’m involved in. So, if you want to get all Wikipedia-y on our behalf, who are we to object?

I think that you are correct in not having a hand in the Wiki entry. Jimmy Wales famously got into a bit of bother for altering his own entry in Wikipedia. It will come soon!
Just checked again. The obscure 70s television show “Ark II” has a substantial entry. We still do not.
If someone wishes to write a wikipedia article, they should ideally cite “Reliable Sources” (which usually means mainstream media or reputable books) for all of the information in the article.
If such information is not available, then maybe an article about the organization can’t be written yet.
Andjam: Perhaps this is true, but I would also include research of various sorts, such as government data, etc. I would also include personal observations. If I witness a bit of news, I think that is a legitimate source.
Not to mention the fact that we have been written about or quoted in such “mainstream media” as PRI’s The World, the BBC, Philadelphia Inquirer, VOA, Village Voice, CNET, LA Times…the list goes on and on.
