Oiwan Lam wrote, about a small epidemic of censorship and self-censorship among Chinese reporters who are also bloggers. She linked to a post by reporter-blogger Zan Aizong, writing on the site v360. The pressure from authorities has led reporters to delete posts and sometimes their entire blogs, according to Zan, via Lam.

Here’s the list Oiwan gave us of reporters who have felt it necessary to change or delete their work, based on the work of the quoted blogger.

1. Li Yong, screen name: ten year chopping wood, from Judicial or Legal Daily
news has deleted his blog in sohu: liy303.blog.sohu.com
2. Cheng Min, screen name: Xiao Shu, editor of southern weekend, his blog
has been censored and then deleted.
3. Yen Lieshan ???, also from Southern weekend’s post on the Funghuang
bridge incident has been deleted.
4. Ling Cangzhou, an editor from Beijing has deleted his blog:

shanxi slave worker issue.
5. Zan Aizong, the writer of this article, has also deleted his blog
because of pressure from censorship.
