Bebo Blocked in China?

I read a comment on Mashable that Bebo, the social networking site, has been blocked in China for the last week. Can anyone verify or debunk this? I saw a mention, which looked like it was from a Chinese message board indicating that it’s so.
Update: This has been confirmed.
Update: In the comments, Ania says Bebo may also be blocked in Thailand.
I haven’t been able to get into bebo for over a week in Thailand now. I heard from one of my students that it’s another website banned by the new military government. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, it’s been blocked for around a week. I’m teaching in China, and did use it quite a lot to keep in touch with folk back home, so it’s a wee bit annoying.

Yeah - it’s annoying since I can use Facebook and MySpace but NOT the one half my family is on. Blogspot is also blocked.

EXTREMELY IRRITATING.
Everyone in Ireland uses BEBO, not Facebook so this is very inconvenient.

My friends in Beijing can use Bebo to email me, but everytime I go online to check mine, it’s blocked!

Hey! Yeah its been blocked for a few weeks for me now & some of my friends I accessed it one week ago when I flew to Hinan Island but back on mainland China we cant do a thing..
I study up the North of China & bebo was my main contact with friends & family.. I use facebook but thats only with students from the Academy all my Irish contacts are bebo so it sucks..

same here. im in vietnam and its blocked here to. i was also in beijing and it was working when i arrived but then the cunts blocked it. you can still access it though through a proxy server. i used to use sureproxy.com but they found out about that to and blocked it. now you must find another one by using a search engine like google. just type in proxyserver list and try each one and hope for the best. good luck

I’m in Lao PDR and havent been able to access Bebo for a couple of weeks, so it seems it’s blocked here too.

omg all of them are block if there is any thing that has proxy in it it will be block bebo you even enter it in the url thing is there any more like site that you can get in bebo and stuff
