Rallies for Kareem

November 6, the one-year anniversary of the Egyptian blogger Kareem’s unjust imprisonment for his blog, is coming up. People are putting together rallies to take place on this day. FreeKareem.org is cooridnating. Two are scheduled for the U.S., one for Romania, another for Germany and another in The Netherlands. If you’d like to put one together, let them know.
To remind the rest of you, Twitter4Kareem is going to take place the same day. That is an online event in which we use our Twitter accounts (or Jaiku, whatever you prefer) to send out short bursts of support and news during the day. Our message: One year is enough!
