Iranian blogger and journalist, Omid Reza Misayafi, has been sentenced to three years in jail.  Omid was accused of insulting Iranian religious leaders and spreading propaganda against the Iranian state.

Iran, huh. Talk about America where every ad engine including Google, Yahoo, and AdBrite refused SamsonBlinded.org ads
Actually, he was sentenced to two and a half years. This is from the original Persian-language source. Even Hamid Tehrani wrote “more than two years” — he meant 2.5 yrs.
Not that any of that matters at this point. What a tragic and shocking story.
