Mohammed Refaat, one of the Facebook activists arrested a month ago with has been rearrested, according to Agence France Presse.
Refaat, who runs the blog “Matabbat” (Speedbumps), was first detained on July 21 after police raided his home and confiscated his computer, the groups said.

CPB friend Antony Loewenstein sent us his new book, The Blogging Revolution. I’ll write it up here as soon as I’m done reading it. It covers blogging in repressive regimes. It has chapters on Iran, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Cuba and China.
Knowing Antony, I imagine it will prove both literate and unique.

Sedition is a favorite “law” to levy against bloggers by both Malaysia and its neighbor, Singapore. In Malaysia on Wednesday, blogger “Penarik Beca,” or Abu Bakar Mohd Rashid, joined American-Malaysian Raja Petra Kamarudin, in being charged with sedition.
